As your tears begin to fall
At the darkest night before dawn…
Stop!
Drop everything on the ground!
We will dance!
Dance in trance with my existence…
Tonight,
I Am, The Shaman
Chant with the beat of my heart
Come closer, open your mouth
Breathe my breath, my life
To the very essence…
Breathe in… Breathe out…
Until the water in the clouds dry out
And the sun comes,
Shining…
Behind the mountains…
You are healing. I am healing.
We are healing. They are healing.
Now, look at me in The Eye
Slow grind your thoughts with mine…
Lose my Self inside your Self
Until you find me
Drenched in the colors of your energy
Transform them to memories
Into expression
Into poetry
Not your ordinary fairytale story
The wind brings the feel of spring…
Ahh The Fountain…
Like trees and flowers
We will blossom once again…
And in this divine intervention
Life is no longer a sadist
We are no longer the masochists
We are here…
Slowly moving…
Navigating…
Awakening…
Illuminating…
Mind, body and soul…
Dancing…
My swirling words dancing with Geo.Kalpataru’s vibrant colors and we’d like you to join us. So get up, brain cells wake up, stir our souls and let’s all dance, to healing!! Do visit his blog https://geokalpataru.wordpress.com, he’s got myriad collection of illustrations and poetry.
Thank you very much Geo, keep dancing for us all! 🙂
Dear Diwata,
Thank you very much for this absolutely wonderful poetry which does indeed, with the accompanying art of Geo Kalpataru, convey such a dynamic, collective oneness.
So very much, I like these lines which bring alive the vision of interconnected unity. What is over there is inside me, and what is inside me is over there. In the end, “over there” and “inside me” have quite artificial meanings.
“Come closer, open your mouth
Breathe my breath, my life
To the very essence…
Breathe in… Breathe out…
Until the water in the clouds dry out
And the sun comes,
Shining…”
And then you shared: “Slow grind your thoughts with mine…” How very neat that you wove these words together to convey a visceral, even intimate, combining of thought with another. Very nice!
This whole creation of word and image brings aliveness!
Thank you again.
All good wishes,
robert

Oh dear Robert,
dynamic, collective oneness, interconnected unity, aliveness (these are from your comment)
– These were the intentions (and also healing) when I wrote the poem and Geo was able to truly illustrate it.
I’m amazed that this lines struck you:
“Come closer, open your mouth
Breathe my breath, my life
To the very essence…
Breathe in… Breathe out…
Until the water in the clouds dry out
And the sun comes,
Shining…”
– This is (and love) the foundation of the poem.
And oh “Slow grind your thoughts with mine…”, 🙂 this is the only way I can invite you, all, known, unknown to dance 🙂
I love your comment! Have a good night Robert ❤

It was a matter of ‘time’ to collaborate with Diwata. One more rewarding moment, here on WordPress, for me: having her words, resting on this nest of mine (and yours). So to all, my kind and beautiful crew (oh what the hell, let’s be a gang!) that feeds me with inspiration and support, I present to you a dance, choreographed by Diwata’s, lively, words and feelings. If you want to crush her party and continue dancing over there, the password is https://diwatainlalaland.wordpress.com/
