Mountain Spirit Flow High

Mountain Twilight

Walking on purple dream
Under my heels
I hear the jewels and crystals
Cracking… Breaking…
Do you think you know me?
Then, come closer…
I hear your voice behind me…
Creeping up my leg
I hear you talking…
Moving up my shoulder
I hear you breathing…
In my head
I hear you screaming…
(I’m lost… I’m yours…)

Billions of energy droplets
Dancing in the cosmic sky
Fuck your Third Eye!
I Am, The One
I conquer the vortex of volcanic fire
I reclaim Osiris, I have the Sun
Exuding simplicity
Illuminating divinity
Do you feel me?
Creeping up your leg
You hear me talking…
Moving up your shoulder
You hear me breathing…
In your head
You hear me screaming…
(Have no fear…)

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

― Frank Herbert, Dune

But, but, but, I have a way with trees haha.. I can make trees speak (see A Tree Finally Speaks post).. I thank you for your comment! Enjoy your summer cloud my dear little brother 🙂

  3. Beautiful, Diwata. I loved the shift in authorship that flows through your poem. The sneaking up and the being snuck upon. The fear and the reclaiming of Osiris. The flood of Love and the bone dry land it fills…

  4. Very well written – you say that you want to say many things with this and you really do – our thoughts can also fly in different directions when we read it – it is said that true love is when we know EVERYthing about a person and still love this person – perhaps many times we are afraid to get under the skin of each other – it’s a shame because too much of our world is ruled by superficial guesswork… 🙂

  5. I am breathless by this word picture, Diwata. I feel the cracking and creeping, the tension and anticipation of breath on skin. And i love the ‘Fuck your Third Eye!’ too. Such a sensual and erotic beast is this poem.

    • Your comment summarized how the mountain made me feel Jeni 🙂 Since you loved “Fuck your third eye”, you can have it/use by all means 🙂

For you, one of my favorites from Ludovico Einudi (oh I wrote quite a few things while listening/watching this video during rainy season last year).. Thank you for the read and comment..Have a great night to you!

  6. Very nice, Diwata – and yes, I know I’m guilty of understatement, but it is a work to internalize rather than proclaim, so ‘magnificent’ doesn’t seem the right way to describe it, yet it is – if you see what I mean. Footnote: anyone who likes Bjork and remembers Frank Herbert has a permanent place in my heart. Ride that worm!

    • Thank you for the lovely words dear Frederick. I remember the first comment you left on my blog when I was just new here in WordPress, you said: “It seems to me you are forever throwing switches and the snippets of light you find are excitingly different. Be bolder! Throw yourself at the language, it will catch you!” – It did encourage me to keep writing and I’m still here blogging and sharing, so let me thank you again. My heart is giving your heart a warm hugs. For you, ofcourse, Bjork:

Thank you Frederick and have a lovely day 🙂
